This 10 minute Google Earth based mini documentary features Wyoming’s Upper Green River Valley -- part of the same ecosystem as Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks -- which holds the nation's fastest-growing and most profitable natural gas fields. The drilling, road construction and pollution that accompanies energy development is causing rapid and extreme changes throughout the region, and is having a measurable impact on wildlife and air quality. SkyTruth released this video with an accompanying Google Earth toolkit to illustrate the changes occurring in the Upper Green River Valley using the latest in satellite imagery, aerial photography, and Google Earth 3-d technology.
