About VlogMap

How do I contact VlogMap?
Email vlogmap at gmail dot com.

What is VlogMap.org?
VlogMap.org launched on July 10, 2005 as an online resource for the video blogging community. Utilizing Google Maps, users submit the location of their video blog as well as individual video posts. Other features include revlogging, community forums, FeedBurner stats, aggregated news, user profiles and more. This site is intended to be a fun and interesting way to learn about and explore the video blogging world. The development continues on VlogMap and new features are being added all the time.

How does it work?
Many of the pages on VlogMap are accessible to all users, however a large portion (and the best parts) of the site requires users to create a VlogMap account. The privacy policy and terms of use are linked at the bottom of every page.

How do I keep up with the latest news and development?
Subscribe to one of our many RSS news feeds. What is RSS?

Who created VlogMap.org?
VlogMap is a community service project developed by GeoHelper LLC, the creators of the Ridertech and Lean Back Vids. However, all data has been provided by the video blogging community and many fellow vloggers have contributed to the site in other ways. If you'd like to help, please contact us.

How can I find out more?
Read the community-written Video Blogging Handbook.

Why Dreamhost?
Dreamhost is an awesome service now offering 1 Terabyte of bandwidth each month. Use the promotional code "vlogmap" and get $50 USD off the purchase of any hosting plan.

We've been through a lot of hosting providers since 1995, even trying it ourselves using Linux and static IPs. No other service provider compares when it comes down to price and features. On top of that, there is a referral program where Dreamhost will pay you back. It doesn't take much to break even so you basically get free hosting. We even know one blogger who is actually making enough money to quit work and blog full-time. Now that would be nice. Did we mention that their services are awesome... streaming video server, e-commerce, blogging, multiple domains, email, an online control panel and the list goes on... Pay only $7-10 a month and know you're in good hands. With 1 TB of bandwidth, ripping fast downloads and responsive support, what are you waiting for?
